Painting can help me to relieve stress. It also helps me to discover what's inside me. When I was a child, my dream was to become an artist. However, I didn't study in an art school because of the prohibitive tuition fees and art materials. I chose a language school instead.
During my college years, I majored in French. After class, I took some part-time jobs. Furthermore, I took some art lessons to learn " Photoshop" and "Illustrator" when I had free time. When I look back, I'm glad that I made the right decision at that time. Having language skills opens up more opportunities to find a job that gives me financial freedom to achieve my dream. Now, I paint as much as I can.
Yesterday, I realized that there was a little girl living in a colorful world inside of my body, after my first try with water color pencils. I was happy looking at my self-portrait for a while. I also shared it with my parents and friends. They were impressed by my hand-painting and imagination. Painting not only helps me understand who I am, but also puts a smile on other people's faces.
